These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Safe & Calm website and services. By accessing this website or booking services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Services
Safe & Calm provides education-based, supportive services related to nervous system regulation, including the Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP). Services are not medical or mental health treatment and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Participation in services does not guarantee specific outcomes. Individual experiences vary.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to book services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Informed Consent
By booking services, you acknowledge that you understand the nature of the services offered, including potential benefits and limitations, and that suitability for SSP will be determined on an individual basis.
The Safe & Sound Protocol is a supportive, listening-based intervention and is not guaranteed to produce specific results.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Canadian law, Safe & Calm shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or participation in services.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, and downloadable materials, is the property of Safe & Calm and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of British Columbia.
Returns & Refund Policy
Safe & Calm provides professional services and digital access to the Safe & Sound Protocol. Due to the nature of these services, refunds are limited.
Sessions
Completed sessions, including the SSP Readiness & Planning Session and any guided support sessions, are non-refundable.
SSP Access
Once access to the Safe & Sound Protocol has been granted, this fee is non-refundable.
Unused Sessions
If services are discontinued before completion, unused sessions may be forfeited unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction, change of mind, or scheduling conflicts. Exceptions may be considered only in rare circumstances and at the sole discretion of Safe & Calm.
This policy complies with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
This policy is in place to respect the time reserved for you and to support the sustainability of this practice.
